How it works

Four steps to the prize.

    Enrol

    Sign in and fill in one short form. It’s free.

  2. Step 2

    Make it

    A 15 to 40 minute short, made with any of the six tools.

  3. Step 3

    Upload to BoxSeat Studio

    Upload it at studio.boxseat.app and set it to Free to watch. BoxSeat reviews every film before it goes live.

  4. Step 4

    Add your link

    Once it’s approved, copy its boxseat.app/title link into your entry before entries close.

Every entry is on BoxSeat, free to watch for anyone with a filmmakers.studio account, so you can see what you are up against.

The rules

Short and fair.

Who can enter
Indian citizens, living in India or abroad. Under 18? Enter with a parent or guardian, who names themselves and gives consent on the form.
The film
15 to 40 minutes long, credits included. Made with at least one of the six tools above.
Entries
One per account, free, and editable until entries close. We contact you at the email on your account.
Submitting
Upload the film to BoxSeat Studio, set it to Free to watch, and once BoxSeat approves it, add its link to your entry. Every entry is public: anyone with a free account, other entrants included, can watch it.
Deadline
Friday 29 January 2027, 11:59 pm IST.
Judging and the prize
A panel of film-industry veterans watches every entry and chooses one winner, who takes ₹5,00,000, including tax.

The full terms cover eligibility, rights in your film, tax and how the prize is paid. The judges will be announced before entries close.
